ed in The Year 1942, and located in the city of Krasnoyarsk, the university is officially accredited and recognized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the 

Russian Federation.

 

Training is conducted in accordance with Russian and international standards at 66 departments of the university and on the basis of 125 city medical and preventive institutions. The university has its own: dental clinic, University Clinic, Professor's Clinic, Department of General Medical Practice.  Currently, about 6000 plus students are studying in KrSMU. Since its founding, about 40,000 doctors have been trained at the university. The university employs more than 750 teachers, including about 160 doctors and 400 PhDs.
